This mid-19th century India Pashmina rug measures 2’0” x 3’0”. It has a very soft, silky , shimmery Pashmina wool in a beautiful light blue/teal with a whimsical design of flowers and foliage in pink, peach and tobacco offset with black with a border in a slightly darker shade than the field. This almost looks like a sampler but it is not. The weave is very fine with an asymmetric knot open to the left. If allowed I’d call it a Mughal. This rug is in mint condition. It is full pile. The ends and sides are complete. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance.
